Starting-up

I'm still looking for some interesting features to put on this blog. Today I've added some links to bookmark this blog or, if you prefer, as your home page. There is also an interesting feature from AltaVista to translate this blog in Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Please leave comments about these features, I will appreciate it very much.

What about Sudoku?

Ok, this is the rule, just one:
each row, each column and each little square 3x3 must contain all the digits from 1 to 9!
The number of valid Sudoku solution grids for the standard 9×9 grid was calculated by Bertram Felgenhauer in 2005 to be 6,670,903,752,021,072,936,960 (sequence A107739 in OEIS). This number is equal to 9! × 722 × 27 × 27,704,267,971, the last factor of which is prime. The result was derived through logic and brute force computation.

Let's play Sudoku!

What I have to say is that I never known this amazing Jap puzzle, before my nice friend M. presented it to me last summer. She know me very well and so she understood I should make something with it. And that's it! I want to use this blog to put anything I know at this time and what I'll know in the future about Sudoku. I hope this will be a great place to meet friends who likes Sudoku. Ok, now I have to sleep, I've just came back from Venice. Tomorrow morning I will start with writing something about Sudoku. Bye, PC!
